Privacy Policy

Financial companies choose how they share your personal information. Federal law gives consumers the right to limit some but not all sharing. Federal law also requires us to tell you how we collect, share, and protect your personal information.

We collect your personal information, for example, when you apply for a loan. We also collect your personal information from others, such as credit bureaus, affiliates, or other companies. The personal information we collect and share depends on the product or service you have with us. This information can include Social Security Number and payment history, credit history and employment information, Income and account balances, etc.

We protect your personal information from unauthorized access and use. We use security measures that comply with federal law. These measures include computer safeguards and secured files and buildings.

All financial companies need to share customers’ personal information to run their everyday business. Your personal information is always used for everyday business purposes such as evaluating your transaction, maintaining or reviewing your account, responding to legal orders, reporting to credit bureaus, providing to our bank, investors, agencies, regulators, and other business partners, etc., as required in conducting our day-to-day business. We may also utilize your personal information to market our own products and services to you. Under federal law, you cannot limit us from using your personal information for these purposes.

Federal law provides you with the right to limit us from sharing your personal information with financial companies for joint marketing or with affiliates or non-affiliates to market to you. We do not share your personal information for joint marketing with other financial companies. We do not have any affiliates and do not share your personal information with affiliates for marketing to you. We also do not share your personal information with non-affiliates for marketing to you.

Altitude Financial Corporation is regulated by Graham-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) or Financial Modernization Act of 1999 with respect to information collected and stored in connection with personal information submitted by covered consumers when seeking a mortgage loan. We do not collect and store any more information than is allowed under GLBA. Information collected and stored pursuant to GLBA is exempt from various provisions of CCPA. We limit the use of collected information for the purpose provided. Except as allowed under GLBA, we do not generally sell or intend to sell GLBA-covered information. As noted our Privacy Policy, we do not sell or share information for marketing or joint-marketing purposes with affiliates or non-affiliates. We do not have affiliates. We do disclose certain information to third-party vendors to assist in origination and review of mortgage loans. Covered consumers can still request that we not sell collected and stored personal information in the future by e-mailing us with sufficient identifiable information at privacy@altitudehomeloans.com. Covered consumers can ask us to delete personal information, subject to certain exceptions, by e-mailing us with sufficient identifiable information at privacy@altitudehomeloans.com; the information we gather generally falls under these exceptions. Covered consumers will receive non-discriminatory treatment regardless exercising their rights under CCPA. Covered consumers may contact us if covered consumers have a disability that requires an accommodation with respect to this notice.

Fair Lending

Altitude Financial Corporation shall not engage in practices that violate federal, state, and local protections against discrimination with respect to residential real estate transactions as well as employment practices. We shall not discriminate based on race or color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status, marital status, handicap, age, public assistance income, exercising of rights under CCPA, sexual orientation, gender identity, and other categories that may be included from time-to-time. Company shall monitor its policies and practices to ensure non-discriminatory treatment, non-disparate impact, and non-disparate treatment. We shall not engage in predatory lending practices such as redlining, equity stripping, risky loan terms and structuring, padding, and flipping. We shall not engage in marketing or advertising that may be deceptive or misleading.

Consumers wishing to file a complaint against a mortgage banker or licensed mortgage banker residential mortgage loan originator should complete and send a complaint form to the Texas Department of Savings and Mortgage Lending, 2601 N. Lamar, Suite 201, Austin Texas 78705. Complaint forms and instructions may be obtained from the Department’s website at www.sml.texas.gov. A toll-free consumer hotline is available at 1-877-276-5550. The Department maintains a recovery fund to make payments of certain actual out of pocket damages sustained by borrowers caused by acts of licensed mortgage banker residential mortgage loan originators. A written application for reimbursement from the recovery fund must be filed with and investigated by the Department prior to the payment of a claim.
